In this work, I explore latent images hidden in everyday scenery. By underexposing photographs and using digital manipulation, I capture the reflection of light on snowflakes, transforming these tiny particles into portraits of stars. The scattered reflections result in a cosmic-like photograph, revealing a hidden cosmos beneath my feet—an image that seems both distant and intimate. In the exhibition, I present a two-part work: an installation and a performance. The installation inside the museum showcases a photographic print on fabric suspended mid-air, seemingly defying gravity. Grip tape on the floor beneath the photograph mimics a cast shadow. Merging into the museum’s grayish environment, a 9x12 negative film floats silently, displaying the line of text: “When the weather is nice, a kite is flying.” This text refers to a performance where I fly a kite, projecting the image of a future event.
